Sampler on a Loom

“Sampler on a Loom” is a sample piece that references a much larger quilt, titled “Veil", and mimics the sample cloths that adorned the walls in my grandmother’s home. I begin each quilt by making a few pieces to test how the tiles will be assembled and how they will look as a whole. This allows me to make adjustments before committing to the whole piece.
